Our March speaker is Bob Starling. Bob is our Region II AEE Vice-President. Please join us on March 8th at 11:30 for lunch at Calhoun's in Turkey Creek.
Bob is a retired Federal civilian with a long and extremely distinguished career in the energy management field. One of the most important aspect of Bob’s experience is that, he served as one of the primary leaders of the Army’s facility energy program working with the Army Corps of Engineers “Center” in Huntsville (CEHNC). There, he worked his way up through the energy program where he was eventually in-charge of developing & running the operations of the Army’s ESPC program, worldwide. At the point of his retirement from the Corps of Engineers, he was a Division Chief in-charge of a handful of programs, energy/ESPC being just one of them.
After retirement from Federal Service, Bob worked for 2 years as a Regional Director for Ameresco and then started his own energy consulting business. He has a BS in Engineering from NC State University and a MS in Engineering Management from the University of Alabama. He is a CEM and a CDSM. For fun, he enjoys riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, scuba diving, and is a certified private pilot for single engine airplanes.
